Tutorial 4: Defining Audit Personnel

Menu item 4, Personnel Skills Management Menu, is used to record information about audit personnel, the skills they possess and the Phase-Skill relationships. Since we are using a common Auditors file for both families, we need only to deal with the DIV1 file in this section except when defining the Phase-Skill Relationships.

Select menu item 1, 4.1 Maintain Auditors File, to add the three auditors shown in Figure 12. Select menu item 3, 4.3 Maintain Skills File, to define the Skills shown in Figure 13.

Menu item 5, 4.5 Maintain Phase-Skill Relationships, is used to indicate the Skills used in each Phase of an audit. This information is used by AMP to automatically compute the Skill Hours required for an audit.

Phase-Skill Relationships need to be recorded for both DIV1 and DIV2 since the families have separate Phase files. Using Figure 14 for DIV1 and Figure 15 for DIV2, select the Phase Categories and record the Skill Percentages.

This brings us to the end of this tutorial. We have skipped some sections of AMP in the interest of reducing the time requirements of the tutorial. We encourage you to explore the other features and experiment, perhaps by applying AMP to your own data.
