auditMASTERPLANŽ is a scientifically designed computer-based risk assessment, planning and work tracking system for internal auditors developed under the auspices of the Institute of Internal Auditors. It is being used successfully by hundreds of internal auditing professionals throughout the world.

based on the IIA monograph Planning for the Internal Audit Function, by J.
E. Boritz, PhD,CISA, FCA. We continue to work
on improvements to the system and documentation so you can be sure that we will
keep pace with the needs of internal auditors. We have been at it for over
20 years, so you know you

Some of the key features in Version 7.1 include:
• Reports can be customized using our unique REPORTMASTER report generator,
giving
you total control over AMP reports.
• Notes up to 8K each can be attached to all AMP objects to document decisions.
• Provision for multiple evaluators.
• User-defined audit unit numeric data fields.
• Objective/computed risk factors or qualitative/subjective factors; or
mixed.
• All internal formulas can be modified.
Audit Universe Management
Keep track of your audit unit universe.
• Unlimited number of user-defined numeric/financial data fields can be
recorded for
each audit unit.
• 10 alpha-numeric fields are available for recording textual data for an
audit unit,
such as name, location, contact,etc.
Risk Assessment
Use a risk model as simple or as complex as needed.
• Up to 40 objective and subjective risk factors can be defined in the risk
model.
• Objective risk factors automatically compute risk factor evaluations based
on the
numeric data recorded for the audit unit.
• Subjective risk assessment formats include: direct assessment, pairwise
comparison
and base comparison.
• Calculated risks can be used to combine objective and subjective risk
assessments,
giving you total control over your model.
• Several evaluators can rate an audit unit independently.AMP combines them
into a
composite evaluation, you can control.
• Graphical RISK PROFILER enables you to "drilldown" through your
audit
universe to identify areas of risk.

Prepare long range audit plans.
• AMP computes suggested audit frequencies based on optimal inter-audit
intervals designed to balance audit costs against risks incurred in the absence
of auditing.
• AMP automatically computes planned audit frequencies.
• AMP computes and manages up to a six-year plan, based on resource availability.
• AMP automatically balances long-term plan.
• Develops up to a six-year personnel training plan to match audit requirements.
• User-defined rules, formulas and parameters control planning
Time Reporting and Activity Monitoring
Keep track of your time, activities and expenses.
• Time sheets for recording time and cost.
• Keeps period-to-date information and summarizes by audit task and by auditor.
• Ultra-flexible reporting periods: one day to one year, in any combination.
Recommendation Manager
Keep track of your recommendations.
• Keeps recommendation records in priority order, follow-update, etc.
• Tickler file prompts follow-up, lists auditee actions due
• Reports text of recommendations, recommender, follower-up,dates, etc.
• Summary and detailed reports and analyses of follow-updates, planned vs.
actual,
etc.
Customer Support
New licensees of auditMASTERPLANŽ receive free customer support,
including use of MASTERLINE, MASTERFAX, our telephone and fax help lines, for
six months after
purchase.(This special offer does not apply to upgrades from one version to the
next.) Through our help lines you can obtain valuable advice based on our experience
with many
users. You can get any needed explanations about how calculations work, and how
AMP's subsystems operate. We will also make minor changes in your system free
of charge to
tailor it to your needs. Additional customer support is available after the free
support period ends to free you from concerns about system maintenance,documentation,
etc.
Newsletter
auditMASTERPLANŽ licensees receive MASTERGRAM, our periodic newsletter
which provides important user information and valuable discounts on new modules.
Site Licenses Available
Individual licenses are granted for one machine at one site. If you have four
or more computers atone site, a site license can be an economical alternative.
Seminars & Workshops
Seminars and workshops can be arranged for specific organizations, chapters, and
conferences, on internal audit planning and risk assessment practices and techniques.
Implementation Support
We can supply books, papers, and references on risk assessment,as well as implementation
counseling and support. We can also recommend independent consultants who can assist you.
